Probably rehashed and stale by now, but eh.
-I'd thought that one guy/gal on Candlekeep who commented when Storm of the Dead came out that for any pure Miyeritari to be left they had to emit some kind of special pheromone was kidding. But then it turns out that Q'arlynd's apprentices were all Miyeritari and mystically attracted to him, thankfully not in a sexual manner (also, he seemed unusually horny in this book, at least at first. Maybe it's just my memory of the last two going, but). Except maybe Piri. Whatever happened with him, anyway?
-Alas, Eilistraee fawns over Halisstra to the very end. Le sigh.
-Corellon is not quite heartless in his brief appearance, but Lashrael seems more upset about Eilistraee's death than he is.
-Eilistraee does not seem to have considered what will most likely happen to drow who suddenly wake up in the middle of Menzo sans darkvision and looking like surface elves. Same kind of myopia as Vhaeraun thinking that hey, if Selvetarm the demigod managed to chop his hand off in his last gating stunt then Eilistraee should be no problem at all. All well and good except nobody seems to notice.
ETA: Also, they manageed to impugn Shevarash's honor in passing. I mean, he was bad enough already, but Eilistraeens were the one group of drow he was not supposed to kill. Unreliable narrator, sure, but "unreliable narrator" didn't help with Wendonai Does Ilythiir.
