Apparently they get it in Germany before they get it in the States. And if they're telling the truth about it, well.
I'll have to read it myself to be sure (got it on pre-order), but Remembered Realms will probably, as anticipated, take another step into AU-land (it started as a far future "well it could conceivably happen," but the Spellplague pretty much scuppered that).
I might have worked in Eilistraee carking it, and I kind of like the idea of her finally telling Halisstra to get stuffed (while somewhat "uncharacteristic" perhaps, that is inconsistent with my original image of her, it would at least take out some of the seeming double standard) but not "good drow become dark elves, all others in future are even more fucked" or Corellon going "Oh, the kids are dead. Shrug. So, Lolth, up for a game?" (Is it me or does this series have the family relationships twice as cold and dysfunctional as they already were in 2E?)
