Disconcerting experience

Found some inexplicable pairs of fifty-dollar boots in my Amazon shopping cart, supposedly put in there yesterday. Took them out and changed the password posthaste. According to the order history there doesn't seem to have been any shopping sprees in my absence, but that leaves me wondering what it was all about if not your run-of-the-mill account hijack.
